Holidays are approaching, which makes it the perfect time to get the kids outside for family portraits. We met up with Yorkey, Genoa and 5yr. old Charlie at Temescal Beach. Surrounded by trees with their bright colored leaves, we soaked in the crisp autumn air. Best of all, we had the place to ourselves without the crowds that may be seen here on a warm summer day. Knowing that Charlie can be camera shy, I shot from afar with my trusty 70-200mm lens in the beginning. She barely noticed me as she eagerly raced up and down the sandy hills. Yet, I know she's watching me as I would catch her looking into my lens with curiosity. After some playtime at the beach, we ventured into the park to explore it's many hideaways and watched as our little artist got to work with her sidewalk chalk.
Yorkey & Genoa, we loved spending the morning with you both! We shall see you again hopefully soon!
A special thanks to Brian Wong, my lighting specialist and loving husband for helping me out!
